Kevin George is here for the long haul. He wants to make timeless music, and inspire as many people as he can on the way there. He has dreams of becoming a diamond-selling act, and plans to get there by continuing to create music that is closest to his true, authentic, self.  He describes his creative process as “create from a curious and experimental place” and it shows in the music. George’s sound is unlike any other, fusing together elements of pop, traditional hip hop, and new age left-of-center sounds, George’s music alone is sure to set himself apart from his contemporaries.

Born and raised in Stamford, CT, a small city of about 130,000 people, Kevin George’s upbringing strongly influenced his journey in music. Growing up in a lower class family, George is the son of a cosmetologist. His mom worked tirelessly to make sure they all had food on the table, and that work ethic influenced the creative process the George still carries with him today. He credits the relentless optimism of his mother for his own tireless creativity, and willingness to pursue his true purpose and passion for music.
 
His journey to music is unconventional. Beginning as a high school football player, George saw football as his path to financial freedom. When that took a turn for the worse, he turned towards music for a creative outlet and path to a better life. At just 15 years old, George began taking music seriously, with the knowledge that he was walking in his purpose.
 
Kevin recalls “the feeling of feeling like a failure is what led me to writing my first raps/songs and making my first beats. Music was now my new escape and eventually it became a necessity for my every day life.”  
 
“I'm still so addicted to the feeling [creating music] makes me feel. One door closed for another to open. I found my true gift, passion and a new plan for financial freedom.”
 
Kevin George doesn’t want to compare himself to other artists. However, he has taken inspiration from the versatility of Price, the creativity of Kanye West, and the Weeknd, and the originality of Fela Kuti and Drake, and credits them with playing a part in finding his own unique identity as an artist. He says “Comparison is the thief of joy for me. How can I enjoy this if I am constantly comparing myself to someone else?”
 
When it comes to his legacy, George is intentional. “I want people to say that I am a light. That I woke up everyday and went after my goals and desires. Never kicked anyone down on my way up but really achieved greatness with good intentions, hard work and focus.”

Rarely does modern music earn the badge ‘timeless’, but singer-writer-producer BEL cuts through the noise. Hailing from the small town of Clovis, California (where her four older siblings coined her nickname), she crafts nostalgic songs with honesty and attention to detail, occupying the intersection of indie, pop, folk, and a sprinkle of country while taking cues from the likes of Stevie Nicks and Joni Mitchell.
 
She’s written songs and performed her entire life, but it wasn’t until 2021 that she rolled out her debut EP, 'Muscle Memory', which she describes as “a personal story of first love, first heartbreak, existential crisis, and finding strength and confidence on my own.” Hailed for its breathtaking display of raw vocal control and intimate writing, the project garnered ample playlist and editorial support, serving as a proper introduction for the fresh face. Now, with more music on the way before the end of 2021, another project in the works, and a steady stream of live performances, BEL is preparing for an inevitably bright future.

Japanese-American singer-songwriter-producer Tanisako (birth name Ethan Rupp) is here to raise the bar in alt-pop. Equally inspired by powerhouse singers (Aretha Franklin, Otis Redding) and innovative songwriters (The Neighbourhood, Lorde), he blends real-life experiences with imaginative, apocalyptic stories to convey surreal feelings, whether it’s catharsis, freedom, angst, love, or euphoria.
 
Growing up in Santa Cruz, CA, Ethan received his education at the skatepark, “wearing raggy clothes, taking trips to San Francisco, smoking spliffs, being a stupid skater.” Rather than leading him down a bad path, though, it did the opposite; skating “saved [him] from being an actual druggy and going to juvy,” following the bleak path of the “wooks'' from his hometown.
 
Beyond just “wanting to be good as much as [he] wanted to live,” Ethan credits skating as the most formative part of his personal development, befriending people of all age groups, learning discipline, and overcoming fear through the process. “I would cry before I tried to do this one trick, but when I did it, all the fear went away. Now, I feel like I can do anything. When I wanna perform, I’m gonna feel that ‘yeah, I can do this.’ I want to internalize that forever.”
 
Ethan planned on becoming a mechanical engineer after high school, but decided against it, moving to New Orleans to study music full-time. Feeling cooped up during COVID, he spontaneously sold his car and used the money to move to New York, where he found inspiration in the rush of being alone in a massive, new place. “I’m a nomadic person, I like change.” This experience birthed “Fire”, the song that would get him discovered, and marked a creative turning point.
 
Now, Ethan’s journey is culminating in his music, which jumps around genres, sounds, and styles just as eagerly as he does in his life. However, it’s all tied together by his instantly-recognizable vocals, which blend elements of blues, rock, pop, and even classical music. He adorns his songs with tasteful runs and inventive melodies, leaving a lasting impression on listeners and indicating a long career to come.
